Here at Datco, we can manufacture screens in our factory, or we can order in screens from Prowler Proof and Commandex.
From a standard flyscreen with standard gauze all the way to a fully welded frame using 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel product called Forcefield from Prowler Proof, and the SaltWaterSeries Stainless Security Screens through Commandex, we will have the screen to suit your needs.
Options can include gauze or mesh from our standard gauze to Petmesh & Midgee Mesh, Aluminium or Stainless Gauze as a budget option to meet BAL ratings, or use 316 stainless steel for the highest rating security screen on the market.
All Prowler items comes with a 10-year warranty.
All Commandex SaltWaterSeries Stainless Security Screens come with an extended 20 year warranty*.

SaltWaterSeries Stainless Secuirty Screens
The SaltWaterSeries stainless steel security door and window screens are made from 316 marine grade stainless steel woven mesh, specifically powder coated for harsh conditions. The mesh is chosen for its superb strength, durability and corrosion resistance, and is far superior to the 304 steel mesh on the market.
SaltWaterSeries is designed for optimum performance and durability in extreme environments including:
• Coastal areas within 500m from the coastline or up to 2 km for properties located on an escarpment, where prevailing wind will carry salt air
• Iron rich red dust prone areas
• Heavy industrial areas
SaltWaterSeries security screen windows and doors are manufactured using a patented fixing method to fix the mesh to an extruded aluminium frame. A patented tensioning tool also enables our screens to be custom built for most large openings without mid rails.
